Château Lambert is a family property based in the heart of the Fronsac appellation in Saint-Aignan.

 

For 4 generations, the Bordeille family produces generous, straight and true to their terroir wines.

 


Today the Chateau Lambert represents :

  • 19 ha in Fronsac appellation
  • 74 ares in Bordeaux appellation
  • Soils : Clay and limestone in hill-side and plateau
  • 5 000 base of vine per hectare
  • Grape varieties : 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc


A pleasure named Fronsac

At 40 kms at the Bordeaux North-East and at 5kms at the North West of Libourne and Saint-Emilion/Pomerol appellations, Fronsac vineyards extend on rough hillside, plateau and the famous Tertre de Fronsac. Our region represents one of the most beautiful site of the Bordeaux region.

 

The entire Fronsac surface is representing 840 hectares of vines.

Fronsac AOC wines produce are only red wines. The clay and limestone terroir from the appellation is a perfect subsoil for the development of the future Fronsac wines.
